The TV movie Sharknado, which aired last night on Syfy, has swept the Emmys, winning every category. This year's Emmys wouldn't have even been held until September, but, according to a source at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences claimed that the judges "just couldn't wait until then."
"When we saw this spectacular presentation last night," the anonymous source continued, "we all looked at each other and said, 'This is what TV was invented for.' We all instantly knew that this was going to be our big winner."The director of Sharknado, Anthony C. Ferrante, was slightly surprised by this news. "I mean, I knew that we were going to win some of them, like Best Writing, Best Acting, and Best Directing," he said in an early-morning interview, "But I never expected to win them all." He continued to say that he was "delighted and confused."
