Outrage over the Rolling Stone cover featuring the Boston bomber Dzokhar Tsarnaev is faintly reminiscent of the outrage over a 1946 cover featuring Adolf Hitler, a source at the magazine claims.
"Really, we have no tact when it comes to cover choices," the source said. "We once featured Hitler on the cover, and everyone was absolutely freaking out. I still don't understand why it was such a bad idea to put a picture of a mass murderer on the cover of a music magazine."The magazine also featured Charles Manson on the cover of the June 25, 1970 issude, further proving the incompetence of the staff members in charge of choosing the photo for the front cover.
